choose from! Which one is right
though?! One common saying these days is
that they are all just different roads leading to the same place and the same
God. How ridiculous a statement is
that?! Anyone who knows even just a
little about any of these religions
knows that they totally contradict each other.
Not only that, but they all have very different perceptions of who “God”
is. All of these religions do have one
thing in common though: how we attain eternal life. They all believe you have to work for or earn
eternal life. All of them believe this
except for one that is. The only one
represented on the front that doesn’t believe you have to work for eternal life
is Christianity. Think about how silly
it is to think you can work for or earn eternal life! To understand what I am talking about, let’s
take a look at the Ten Commandments: #9
says, “Thou shalt not lie.” Ever lied
before? #8 says, “Thou shalt not
steal.” Ever stolen before? #3 says, “Thou shalt not take my name in vain.”
Ever taken God’s name in vain? If you have broken just these three of the
Ten Commandments then you are a liar, a
thief and a blasphemer. You are guilty
before God as a lawbreaker and deserve to be punished. That punishment is HELL! No matter how much “good” you have done or
will do, you still deserve to be punished for your sins. Your “good” deeds can’t wash away your
sins! But, God desires to show you
forgiveness, grace and mercy. That is
why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins. HE is THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE! He is the only way to God! Eternal life is a FREE GIFT that is available
to ANYONE who will Confess and Forsake their sinful ways (Repent) and Trust in
