Many people seem to think so and their numbers are growing. Movies about the end of the world come out every once in a while. Is there really any need for concern though? Well, according to the Bible, the world WILL end at some point in time. Jesus said that only the Father knows the day or the hour when the end will come. The most important question is what will happen when the end comes? According to the Bible, Judgment Day will be next. God will judge each person by His Law according to how each person has lived. God will judge your thoughts, words and deeds. The Bible says that all those who have lied, looked with lust, had sex before marriage, been drunk, taken God’s name in vain, stolen, or hated will be cast into Hell on Judgment Day. Which ones apply to you? Or do they all apply to you?! You have every reason to fear the end of the world if you get what you deserve for your sins! The good news is that God has provided a way for you to be forgiven of your sins and brought back into a right relationship with Him. God loved you enough to send His Son to die as a sacrifice for your sins. If you will repent of your sins (turn from them) and trust in what Jesus did for you on the cross, you can be forgiven of your sins and reconciled to God. Your sins have separated you from God, so you need to forsake them and walk in holiness through an intimate relationship with God. Forget about “2012”! Will you survive Judgment Day?
